Philip Lewis runs a private dental practice on the Isle of Wight with the help of 2 hygienists and a dental therapist. He has been involved in dental education for many years, lectures internationally and has had more than 100 articles published in the dental and consumer press as well as many appearances on TV and radio. During his career Philip has belonged to a number of dental societies, serving at board level in several of these. He is a Certified Member of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Media Spokesman for the BDA and participates on the Editorial Boards of 2 national dental magazines. Philip has a special interest in the early detection of mouth cancer and has been appointed an Ambassador by the UK charity The Mouth Cancer Foundation www.mouthcancerfoundation.org

David is a past president and an accredited member of the British Academyof Cosmetic Dentistry and speaks at many of the organisation's annual conferences. He is also a fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics and on the board of editors for The International Journalof Cosmetic Dentistry.

Prem Sehmi - Chief Executive Officer Prem graduated from Birmingham Dental School in 2003. Since then he has acquired a large portfolio of dental practices across the North of England and has left clinical dentistry infavour of a managerial role within his company.

Prem opened the Academy of Clinical Excellence in 2008 as the only private postgraduate teaching facility of its kind in the UK. He is also the Director of an implant business, a dental import company, financial and dental software companyand regularly lectures around the country on the business aspects of dentistry and how to make the most of opportunities within the profession today. He will be taking the role of financial and managerial running of BDS Laboratory

Dr Avik Dandapat qualified from Birmingham University where he gained his BDS qualification. He went on to working in a private practice in Royal Leamington Spa and attained the MFGDP (UK) qualification by exam 2 years after qualifying (at the earliest possible time allowed). After a period of general practice training, he was involved in surgical dentistry inhospitals based in various Maxillo-Facial departments around the UK. Avikalso did some sabbatical work in India- working closely with Maxillo-Facialsurgeons involved treatment of late stage oral cancers and leading thedento-facial reconstructive surgery post cancer removal. He then embarked onfurther post graduate training at the Royal College of Surgeons of England relating to Dental Implantology.

He passed the Diploma in Implant Dentistry by examination and was amongst the few group of dentists in the UK to achieve this award. He also attained the standards in bone reconstruction required to be further awarded the Advanced Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Avik Dandapat has extensive experience in providing Dental Implant treatments and has now performed over 4000 dental implant operations with a success rate of over 98%.

Avik is a mentor and also lectures for Association of Dental Implantology (UK) across the country. He also runs hands-on courses teaching other dentists how to restore implants at his practice. He is an official mentorfor Ankylos and DIO Implant systems.

Dr Raj Ahlowalia is general & implant restorative dentist and a faculty instructor in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry and occlusion whilst maintaining a position on the board of advisors at The Pankey Institute inMiami, Florida.

Dr Ahlowalia facilitates small group education courses for several private study groups internationally and has served as a faculty instructor & mentor for many years at The Spear Education Centre in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He is an instructor and mentor for Dentsply's Ankylos implant system and was the first dentist to show the management and use of implants in complex interdisciplinary aesthetic dentistry on the Extreme Makeover UK television show.

Aside from his teaching Dr Ahlowalia maintains active private practice in both Bedfordshire & Harley Street.

Anoup is joint principal at Edgbaston Dental Centre where he continues to drive the surgery forward with his unique vision. Deeply committed to continuing education, he constantly enhances his knowledge by participating in postgraduate courses and training all over the world.

Anoup has been a clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham and has had successful years as a vocational trainer. In 2008, Anoup was approved as a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) allowing him to help and tutor dentists requesting advice and support in the field of Implantology. He is also an approved mentor for SAAD in the field of sedation dentistry. Anoup now limits his dentistry to implant based treatment and restorative dentistry.

International lecturer Philip Lewis has served on the Boards of various Cosmetic Dental Societies and writes extensively for the dental and consumer press.

Richard who is from North Yorkshire moved to the Midlands over 20 years ago to start his career in Financial Services. He set up practice in the 90's and subsequently co-founded 'money4dentists' where he is now the director.

Richard has developed money4dentists into the leading specialist IFA and multi award winning firm it is today.

Richard is a member of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD) and is married to Jane, who is a dentist as well as being Clinical Director of money4dentists.

Reena qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. As an undergraduate, she won over 16 dental awards, one of them being the prestigious University of London Gold Medal. Following graduation, Reena worked in a large practice in Croydon and provided a widerange of treatment. She thereafter worked as a Senior House Officer at Guy s Hospital in both Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, whilst also working in general practice. Reena is currently a completing a 4-year part-time specialty training programme in Periodontology at Guy s Hospital.

She is also working part-time at Woodford Dental Care as well as Pure Periodontics. Pure Periodontics was recently awarded the Private Dentistry Award for Best Periodontal Practice . Reena is also a part-time undergraduate clinical tutor at Barts and The London.

Reena is a board member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice as well a committee member for the British Dental Association. Reena is a host for the popular Tubules Live seminars (Dentinal Tubules). She regularly publishes articles in well-known journals and has presented her work internationally.
