DATE OF COURSE: 22ND MARCH 2014Course Objectives:To understand the principles of tooth whitening |
About The Course:This course was first presented in the UK in 2010. Since then it has been presented here and internationally. The course has been completely updated to comply with new European Directives and much new material has been added. This course is designed to help you develop as a dental professional and give you skills that will be valuable when promoting yourself to potential employers. From the dentist's point of view; dental hygienists and dental therapists providing tooth whitening services add a new income stream to the practice. This should be reflected in your remuneration. |
Dental Nurses:Dental nurses can of course assist other clinicians during the tooth whitening procedures. An understanding of procedures is essential to this but they can do much more. |
With appropriate training Expanded Duties allow dental nurses to:
|
These skills greatly reduce the time necessary for clinicians to complete the whitening process. Utilising these skills reduces clinician chair-side time and laboratory costs. This course will allow dental nurses to observe the lectures and hands-on elements of Lighten Up! at minimal cost. A further course including hands-on instruction for dentists and dental nurses is also available. Please email [email protected] for details including 'dentist and nurse whitening' in the subject line. Tooth whitening can produce a valuable profit centre in any dental practice. In order to do this all team members have to have an understanding of the procedures and be enthusiastic about provision. Most dentists realise patients are more influenced by their team members than by themselves when recommending cosmetic procedures! For this reason it really is essential to have the whole team on board. Attending these courses helps engage enthusiasm throughout the practice. For a practice owner that can be priceless! Avenue Road Dental Practice is proud to present its course on tooth whitening 'Lighten Up' once again. Even during the economic recession cosmetic dental procedures remained popular as patients , deprived of other luxuries, still wanted to feel good about themselves. Now, as the economy shows undeniable signs of improvement a renewed surge in demand is beginning to materialise. Don't be left out! The time to increase cosmetic services is NOW! Enlarge your range of services. Work smarter, not harder by utilising those professionals who can help. Improve your practice profitability while rewarding your team-members properly for their services. Most importantly, make sure everyone understands and becomes eager to promote the excellent services you offer. |
